ABOUT THE FOOTBALL AUTOBIOGRAPHY SHOW

Interesting people, interesting careers, more than football

We’re here for you!

The Football Autobiography Show is dedicated to taking you on a football journey with football’s most interesting players, coaches, trainers, staff and journalists. Think of these as mini-football autobiographies.

Each guest will show you how they got to where they are now, reveal their techniques for success and what they’ve learned along the way.

I hope that their journeys will:

  • Entertain- Who doesn’t like to hear a fun or funny story?

  • Inform- Lets go behind the scenes and learn about what some of these jobs entail. What are players doing on a Tuesday at 11 am? How does a physio prepare for a game? Maybe you’re a coach looking to learn new skills from other coaches. There are pearls of wisdom that each guest has and wants to share with you.

  • Inspire- Maybe you are an aspiring coach or sports scientist but don’t know how to do it. These guests are experts in their fields and have blazed the trail. They might just spark an idea and give you the extra push you need to make a life-changing decision.

These objectives cannot be reached in short podcasts (<45 min). It’s hard to get to know someone in that short a time. I understand not all episodes will interest everyone. That’s okay.

If any of these podcasts make you laugh, cry, learn more about a given subject or make a change in your life then it has been a worthwhile experience.

Please share your experiences with me or others on my facebook or twitter page.

I believe this is a special opportunity for everyone involved. This is a chance for my guests and me to be open, honest and vulnerable. It is in those conversations that you get to know someone and forge a deep connection.

About Josh Schneider-Weiler

I am the proud host and founder of The Football Autobiography. I have an undergraduate degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University (GO Orange!). I’m a native New Yorker, but I have also lived in South Korea and Spain before settling down in London. Besides my undying love of football, I have a passion for 2000’s hip hop, collecting robes and watching basketball.
